Church institutions should become models of creation-sustaining action.
Ecologically-oriented pastoral work including Liturgy, Preaching, Diakonia - Service to humankind and God's entire creation is for us a necessary part of living Christian faith. This is the conviction we share. The need of our times calls for clear statements and also for appropriate initiative on the part of church dignitaries.

We consider it our job to support (not to supplant) the church's ecological work on the parish and diocesan levels.
