JUDO Turnier Manager is a database application, designed for managing Judo tournaments (Individual and team competitions).
In order to use the application, you must have Microsoft Access97 or Microsoft Access2000 or Microsoft AccessXP installed on your PC. (Access is one component of the Microsoft Office suite). No further installation process required!

JUDO-Turnier Manager consists of one single file (.mde). This file contains the data (Competitor names, weight divisions...) as well as the program code.
Because of this reason, the handling of the application is very easy. You only need to open the file. You may backup the data (file) any time - Just copy the file.

You can hold multiple tournaments in this database file. Therefore you can make statistics over a serial of tournaments.

Because the database stores clubs and competitors data independently from tournaments data (within independent tables), you enter competitor particulars only once and can utilize this details than for all tournaments managed by the "Judo Turnier Manager" application.

At the moment, the contest systems listed below are incorporated in the application
- Round Robin System for weight divisions up to 10 competitors
- Strict Elimination System (up to 100 competitors)
- Elimination System with Single Repechage (up to 100 competitors)
- Elimination System with Double Repechage (up to 100 competitors)
- Double Knock-Out System (up to 32 competitors)
- Pool System (2 or 4 pools with a maximum of 5 competitors in a pool, within each pool Round Robin System) followed by any other of the system listed above
If you like, you can enter score details (e.g. Yuko by Seoi-Nage after 1:25min) for each match

By running the application in a network, you may take advantage of the multi user capability of "Judo Turnier Manager".
Especially when you have to conduct a tournament with several hundreds participants, you will appreciate the fact, that several operators (in a network) may work simultaneously with the same "Judo Turnier Manager" database. (Such setups with 4 PC's at the tatamis and one PC for administration have been successfully tested)

Because Access is a component of Microsoft Office, the exchange of data to/from other MS-Office Applications (such as Word or Excel) is quite easy.
You can even present the contest sheets 'online' with MS-PowerPoint. Pre-configured PowerPoint Presentation files may be downloaded from this site.

With "Judo Turnier Manager" it's quite easy to publish the tournamaent results in the Internet.
