I traveled on a 12 day trip to the Libyan desert with my astronomy club "Wiener Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Astronomie". This is my equipment.
A Pentax 75 SDHF and an el-cheapo 70mm refractor for visual images. This is a composite photo. I took the images 1/2000 to 4 seconds with a Canon 350d and combined them with ImagesPlus and FitsWorks.
