Gert Haussner
born in 1963 in Vienna/Austria. He started his musical
education when he was 13 when he began to take guitar and
piano lessons. After finishing highschool he leaned closer
to classical and electric guitar as well as electric bass,
saxophone and the human voice..
He studied musical sciences, italian and spanish languages
for a couple of semesters just to change over to the
Hochschule für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna
where he studied sound engineering. After this he started
working in various jobs as soundengineer, studio- and live
musician, arranger, producr and composer for projects as
different as in the pop, jazz and classic style. In 1989 he
was elected choir-master for the renowned "Kammerchor
Klosterneuburg" (Chamberchoir Klosterneuburg) and he
entertains a guitar-class at the J.G. Albrechtsberger
Musikschule in Klosterneuburg. To round up the instruments
he plays he also took mandoline and lute.
